6°North sells T-Shirts and Posters to support IMAGINE PEACE – Reykjavík Culture Fund
On the occasion of John Lennon’s 70th birthday, the City of Reykjavík, in collaboration with Yoko Ono, has founded a new cultural and support fund named IMAGINE PEACE – Reykjavík Culture Fund. The fund is intended to support cultural projects, specifically those that relate to children and youngsters.
66°NORTH wanted to be involved in the project and support the fund. The result is that 66°NORTH manufactures and sells t-shirts and posters labelled: War Is Over – If You Want It. The t-shirts will be on sale until December 8th, the day John Lennon died. All profits from the sale of the t-shirts and posters will be donated to Imagine Peace – Reykjavík Culture Fund.
66°NORTH is proud to participate in this endeavour with the City of Reykjavík and Yoko Ono and hopes that as many people as possible support the cause and ensure that the Imagine Peace – Reykjavík Culture Fund is as strong as possible and bolsters and advances child and youth culture internationally.

+++++find some "classical master piece" painting and use John & Yoko's idea of naming something PEACE after any noun phrase---"Hair Peace" & "Bed Peace" For instance, Whistler's Mother painting could be "Mother Peace". I did rough quick modification...we could just hand write "Mother Peace"... or simply we can say "WALL PEACE" for walls, "DOOR PEACE" for doors, something conceptual...+++++
